IAIA Canvas LMS — Platform Administration

Three years of hands-on Canvas LMS administration at the Institute of American Indian Arts — one of the most culturally significant art schools in the US. Starting as a migration assistant and growing into the role of LMS Administrator, I built the technical and human infrastructure that helped IAIA’s faculty actually use their LMS. The numbers: 67% adoption increase, 200+ technical articles authored, courseware templates adopted across departments. The less measurable part: faculty who used to avoid Canvas becoming advocates for it. I used SQL to build efficient data management workflows for LMS reporting, implemented cross-departmental procedures, and managed mobile device deployment with JamfPro across 150+ Mac devices.
